Aroha stone is a rare stone found only in one area of South Westland, NZ.
Carved from Aroha Stone, (Piedamontite Schist), which is characterised by beautiful colours ranging from pink to dark purple. The stone contains mica which gives it a magical shimmer and sparkle. In Maori the word Aroha means “unconditional love”.
